2025 Classroom Teacher
St Patrick’s Primary School Koroit are seeking a classroom teacher to join us in 2025 working in a collaborative, respectful and inclusive environment. This position is open to both experienced teachers and graduates. We welcome applications from individuals at all stages of their teaching careers, providing an opportunity to grow and contribute to our school community.
All applicants must hold current VIT registration and Religious Education Accreditation (or willingness to gain)
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- an understanding of or is open to working with evidence based teaching practices including explicit direct instruction and how to use such practices to positively impact student learning
- familiarity with or open to working within a Science of Reading and Science of Learning approach
- a commitment to work collegially to enact a shared vision focused on excellence in education and embracing difference
- strong community engagement skills and an understanding of the importance of family, parish and extended community relationships
- a willingness to embrace the school values of Peace, Love and Respect in all aspects of their teaching practice and daily interactions
- experience or familiarity with School Wide Positive Behavior Strategies
- an understanding of the Child Safe Standards
